UNLV Lands Narbonne Standout

In a follow-up of an earlier report today: Linebacker Roy Lewis from Harbor City (Calif.) Narbonne has committed to UNLV. Lewis was in Las Vegas on an unofficial visit this past weekend and he received an offer from Rebel head coach John Robinson. Lewis stands 5-foot-11, weighs 180 pounds and runs the 40-yard dash in 4.45 seconds. Lewis projects as a DB on the next level. In a previous Narbonne assistant coach told Pac10Recruiting.com, “His name is Roy Lewis, but he hits like Ray Lewis.” UNLV wins the services of the talented Lewis over other interest from Cal, Oregon, ASU, and Arizona. Nice get for UNLV...
Lewis went on this unofficial visit with good friend Marc Hull. Hull also plays linebacker for Harbor City (Calif.) Narbonne and he too received an offer from UNLV. “I really liked it at UNLV,” Hull said. “It has everything. It is a place where you can spend four or five years. UNLV was real nice,” Hull said. Hull hasn’t committed yet and he is headed to Stanford this weekend for another unofficial visit. Hull stands 6-foot-3, weighs in at 200 pounds and runs the 40-yard dash in 4.65 seconds. Notre Dame, Wisconsin, Nebraska, Northwestern, Michigan, USC, UCLA, Cal, ASU, Oregon, Oregon State, Washington State, Washington, Miami, Georgia and BYU are also showing interest in Hull.
