Unherladed LB getting on the map

There is another player for readers of Rivals.com to keep their eyes on for the rest of the recruiting season and that is outside linebacker/wide receiver Chris Dennis (6-3, 215, 4.69) from West Covina, Calif. Though Dennis is a standout on both sides of the ball he projects as a linebacker.
“Chris has outstanding eye and hand coordination,” West Covina coach Mike Maggiore said. “He’s such a superb athlete.”

“Besides football he participates in basketball, baseball and throws the shot in track,” Maggiore said. “If he wanted to, he has the athleticism and the ability to play water polo, tennis or any other varsity sport.”
As a junior, Dennis accounted for 87 tackles, 11 tackles for loss, seven sacks, three interceptions, three fumbles caused and three fumble recoveries.
So far in seven games, it is more of the same for Daniels as he has racked up 66 tackles, 10 tackles for loss, three caused fumbles, two interceptions and two sacks.
What makes his statistics even more impressive is the fact that the opposition runs away from him.
As a wide receiver, Dennis has 18 receptions for 396 yards for an average of 22 yards per catch and three touchdowns.
Boise State, Fresno State, San Diego State, UTEP and Washington are recruiting Dennis and talking visits.
