Unheralded lineman heads to Tucson

The Wildcats are on a roll.
Just hours after adding commitments from two Texans, Biren Ealy and Akin Akinniyi, Arizona has added Kili Lefotu to its growing list of commitments for the class of 2002.

Lefotu is a largely unheralded prospect, which is understandable given his circumstances.
A senior at Arlington High School in Riverside, Calif., Lefotu is in only his second year of playing organized football.
The 6-foot-5, 305-pound offensive tackle says there were a couple of things that attracted him to Tucson.
"I liked the coaching staff, mainly Coach (Charlie) Dickey," Lefotu said. "I liked the players, too. It's a family atmosphere over there."
Lefotu visited the U of A on Dec. 7, and has also already visited Colorado State on Nov. 30. Upon his commitment, he canceled previously scheduled visits to Arizona State for Dec. 14 and Fresno State for Jan. 4.
Washington State had also offered him a scholarship.
"I don't want to take visits anymore. I like Arizona and I'm very happy with my decision," Lefotu said.
