Underclassman to tour Sooner State

Chaz Ah You isn't hurting for scholarship offers as things are now. And when you see the 2017 prospect on film, it's hard to imagine that the five he currently holds aren't just the start.
It's why Ah You, who plays a number of positions including quarterback at Utah's Westlake High School, is hitting the road this week. First up will be a tour of Oklahoma State, which has already offered him a scholarship.

Ah You will spend Thursday in Stillwater before heading to Oklahoma, a school from which he doesn't currently hold a scholarship offer, on Friday. But that absent offer could show up at any time.
"Oklahoma has been showing me a lot of love lately," Ah You said. "I was actually point-one second away from a scholarship at one of the OU camps in the offseason. I just have to go get it."
Just a sophomore, Ah You projects as a safety in college but could also fill a wide receiver role if need be. That kind of stuff has plenty of time to sort itself out, though. For now, the Utah-based standout is more worried about getting to know his potential suitors.
Ah You doesn't name early leaders in his recruitment, but his interest in the Cowboys certainly bleeds through.
"I love Oklahoma State," Ah You said. "They have a good tradition going on over there with a good program. I love the coaches, too. The coaches show me a lot of love."
Ah You says Oklahoma State, BYU, Notre Dame and UCLA are in most frequent contact, but the Bruins and Irish are yet to extend offers. That won't stop him from taking visits, though. Ah You intends to see as many campuses as possible this offseason and is off to an aggressive start in his quest.
"I'm hoping to go to UCLA sometime this offseason, and Washington wants me to go visit there," Ah You said. "I'm going to try to make that work too."
According to Maxpreps.com, Ah You accounted for more than 1,596 total yards and scored 16 total touchdowns in nine games as a sophomore.
Ah You will be in attendance when Oklahoma and Oklahoma State meet in Norman.
