UNC, VT lead for two-sport star

Dual-threat quarterback Bryn Renner has seen his stock rise in recent weeks and he now has a good list of offers to choose from.
The 6-foot-3, 192-pound prospect from West Springfield, Virginia has the ability to beat an opponent with his arm or his legs. As a junior he passed for 2,749 yards with 32 touchdowns and only seven interceptions.

"I'm actually in Florida right now at a baseball tournament," Renner said. "I would like to play both sports (in college) if the opportunity presented itself. I've mostly just been focusing on football with (college coaches) but if they would let me then I would definitely like to try.
"I've talked to Coach O'Cain from Virginia Tech, Coach Poindexter from Virginia and Coach Shoop from North Carolina recently. I'm going to try to make the spring games at Virginia Tech and UNC, and I'd like to go to the Michigan State spring game as well."
Renner already holds offers from Maryland, Michigan State, North Carolina, Virginia Tech, West Virginia and others.
Does he have a favorite?
"I'm still pretty wide open but I like UNC and Virginia Tech a lot," he said. "I just got an offer from West Virginia. I like all the schools a lot, but UNC and Virginia Tech are sticking out a little."
