UNC offers 2016 RB McKoy
Recently, North Carolina became the latest school to offer junior running back Kennedy McKoy of Lexington (N.C.) North Davidson a scholarship.
"I was excited," said the 6-foot, 190-pound McKoy. "I know that they have been recruiting me for a long time and I have been waiting for them to pull the trigger. It's exciting."

McKoy found out about the scholarship offer from one of the North Carolina coaches.
"Coach Kapilovic told me on the phone," he said. "That they watched the film that day."
McKoy knows a few things about North Carolina.
"He did let me know that they are young and that they work hard," McKoy said. "They are looking to get players like me to help them out next year."
McKoy does plan to visit North Carolina at some point during this football season.
He has been talking to Duke, Virginia Tech, Florida State and N.C. State and Tennessee the most lately.
McKoy does not have a favorite school at this time. While he does not claim any favorites, two of the schools that he likes so far are N.C. State and Florida State.
