The Latest: Class of 2018 Roswell, Ga. tight end Tyneil Hopper spent the spring turning heads at several events, including the Rivals250 Underclassman Challenge presented by Under Armour. But it was a recent camp showing at North Carolina that really made an impact on his recruitment. Hopper's performance in Chapel Hill lead to an offer from the Tar Heels, officially giving him a chance to follow in the footsteps of his brother Tyrone Hopper, a class of 2016 prospect that recently moved into his on campus housing. The Heels join Kentucky, Louisville and Wake Forest on the younger Hopper's list and have clearly given him something to think about when it comes to his future.

In His Words: "The offer is big for me because they didn't just offer me because of my brother. I actually had to work for it and I performed at a high level for them to offer me. On the other hand, my brother is really excited for me to have this opportunity."

Rivals Reaction: The Tar Heels have officially emerged as the team to beat for Hopper, who will likely have plenty of options before it's all said and done. Schools like Florida and Virginia Tech are taking a close look at Hopper so North Carolina will have to continue to make him feel like he's wanted for his talent, not just because of his last name.
