UNC, Louisville lead for WR

Wide receiver Avyd Baldwin out of Arden (N.C.) Christ School has two schools leading for his services. Who is leading for the 6-foot-2, 180-pounder and what is he looking for out of a college?
"I'm basically hearing from every ACC school mostly of course North Carolina, North Carolina State, Duke and Wake Forest along with Virginia, Penn State, Central Florida and others," he said. "I'd say North Carolina and Louisville are my favorites right now. North Carolina has always been one of my top schools and I always wanted to go there. I went to camp there last summer and coach Bunting and Sanders showed a lot of interest in me and I felt at home there.

"Another reason I like UNC as well as Louisville is because they both have dentistry as a major. That is real important to me and puts Louisville up there too. Beyond that, I don't know too much else about Louisville."
Baldwin went on to say what he feels makes him stand out from other receivers in the 2007 class.
"I think it mostly is my hands because in my mind I try to come down with every ball thrown at me," he said. "My coach tells me it's like I have two pillows as hands because they are so soft. I know of course I really have to improve on my 40, but I think I have good quickness off the ball and I run routes very well."
The wide receiver prospect has plans to attend a handful of combines including the Elite 8, Shrine Bowl and Nike Camp at Georgia. Baldwin also plans to take in a handful of camps locally at North Carolina, North Carolina State, Wake Forest and Duke.
In just his first year at Christ School, Baldwin was named all-conference after accounting for nine touchdowns on offense and 315 yards receiving. He added five interceptions and 16 pass breakups on defense.
