UNC latest to offer QB

Cleveland (Ohio) Glenville quarterback Arvell Nelson has added another offer to his list pushing the number of offers for the 6-foot-5, 180-pounder to five.
Nelson already had offers from Michigan State, Kent, Eastern Michigan, Bowling Green and just added one from North Carolina.

"I just got that one and I like North Carolina," he said. "I'm really excited about the offer and they are rebuilding right now, but I think that's a nice school."
Previously, we reported that Nelson was favoring Ohio State and Texas. Is that still the case?
"Just growing up those are the two schools I like the most, I think I'd look good at either school," he said. "Both of them have two good quarterbacks. I like the way Ohio State really cares about their student athletes and they graduate them. I just like Texas. I haven't been recruited by them though."
As for next year, Glenville is bringing back an impressive team.
"We seem like we're going to win the state title," he said. "We can't lose, we have to go all the way. I just want to make my quarterback rating higher and help my team to get better."
Nelson passed for 1,600 yards, 13 touchdowns and five interceptions.
The quarterback prospect should qualify with a solid 3.0 GPA.
