School: Cherryvale, Kansas

Position: Offensive Line
Size and Speed: Boss is 6-foot-4 and 298-pounds. He has been timed at 4.81 seconds electronically in the 40-yard dash.
Schools: Boss has been offered scholarships by Kentucky, Kansas State and Kansas.
Skinny: Boss is one of the top offensive linemen in the Big 12 region and will be one of the state of Kansas' top players for the Class of 2004.
"Matt is getting qutie a bit of interest from schools," Cherryvale coach Jon Guidie said. "But right now, there are three schools that have scholarship offers on the table. Kentucky, K-State and Kansas have offered him."
The interest from Kentucky is really fairly new.
"When the coaches from K-State left for Kentucky they offered him pretty soon after. Offensive line coach Paul Dunn is the one recruiting him."
Guidie knows only one thing about the recruiting process Boss is going through.
"He's going to take his time and see what happens along this road. He won't rush into something."
Most of the schools are recruiting Boss for his play along the offensive line.
"I know he can play Division-I. That is what most of the schools are talking about. So I'm not the only one who thinks he can do it."
