UGA, UM lead for Blue Grass star

One prospect that is going to be making some noise in the Bluegrass State this recruiting season is Lexington (Ky.) Lexington Catholic outside linebacker Brandon Logan.
“I have offers from Kentucky, Michigan, Louisville and Tennessee,” Logan said.

“Auburn, Georgia, Michigan State, Ohio State and Miami are all sending me a lot of mail, too. I would say that Georgia and Auburn are the schools that are sending me the most mail that haven’t offered yet.”
The 6-foot-1, 195 pound junior, who runs the 40-yard dash in 4.5 seconds, boasts a 325 pound bench-press and a 450-pound squat.
“My top schools are Georgia, Kentucky, Michigan, Louisville, Tennessee, Ohio State and Miami,” he said. “I really want to get out of Kentucky, but I want to stay in the South. I would go to Michigan, but that’s the only school outside of the South that I would go to.”
As a sophomore, Logan recorded 82 tackles, seven tackles for loss, two forced fumbles and one sack for one of Kentucky’s top programs. He suffered an elbow injury as a junior, one that hindered him for much of the year, but still managed to record 58 tackles, three forced fumbles and one sack.
“I grew up pulling for Florida State, but in the last couple of years I really started liking Georgia a lot,” he said. “The most important thing in my decision is how comfortable I feel with that place. I really plan on taking all of my official visits before I make a decision.”
Logan said that he plans to attend the Nike Training Camp at Georgia Tech on May 8th as well as camps at Michigan and Georgia over the summer.
