UGA, UF latest to offer 2015 OT

It's been a busy spring for 2015 Memphis (Tenn.) University School offensive tackle Drew Richmond, with plenty of camps in the books and plenty of new interest from big-time programs.
After earning an invitation to the Rivals Five-Star Challenge presented by Under Armour at the Birmingham stop on the Rivals Camp Series, Richmond added offers from Georgia and Florida.

The Bulldogs and Gators join Alabama, Florida State, Ohio State and several others on Richmond's offer list.
"I have been wanting to talk to Georgia for a while," Richmond said. "I know they don't have a problem with starting a freshman if you're good enough and that's one thing I've respected about them."
Richmond said he already knows a lot about the Bulldogs because of their pursuit of his cousin Ty Montgomery a few years ago.
"He ended up choosing Stanford but Georgia was in his top two and he almost chose them," Richmond said. "He's had nothing but good things to say about the program."
As far as the Gators, Richmond said they've been in touch since last fall and finally pulled the trigger earlier this month.
"I like that they're an athletic team and they let their big men get out and run and make some open field blocks," Richmond said. "I feel like I fit that role well because I'm an athletic lineman. I think I'll be able to show my skills in that kind of offense."
Richmond recently visited Tennessee for the Vols spring game and came impressed with what he saw in Knoxville.
"It went really well," he said. "I enjoyed it a lot. I see good things coming for their program."
Richmond added that he was impressed with the 61,000-plus turn out for the spring game.
"It was really good and the fan base is crazy," Richmond said. "I really like it. The crowd was live and they were into it."
Several members of Tennessee's class of 2014 have already started to put the heat on Richmond, led by Rivals100 safety Todd Kelly Jr.
"When the players were coming out and the crowd was getting loud Todd grabbed me and told me that I needed to be a part of it," Richmond said. "Neiko Creamer has been texting me, too, they're all working trying to get everyone on board."
With so many SEC schools already on board, which one will be the next to pull the trigger?
"Auburn called and they said they know about me and they want to offer," Richmond said. "But they said they do things differently, they want me to come to campus before they offer me so I have to try to get down there."
In addition to wanting to visit Auburn, Richmond said he's planning a summer road trip to visit Georgia, Florida, Florida State as well as Ohio State.
