UGA offers NJ ATH

Juwann Winfree has been picking up a bunch of offers lately. South Carolina, Michigan, Rutgers, Vanderbilt and many others have already offered the athlete from Englewood (N.J.) Dwight Morrow but none of those offers mean as much to him as the most recent offer.
"The Georgia offer is a dream come true, basically," said the 6-foot-2, 180-pound Winfree. "This was always the offer I was looking for. Actually, the Georgia staff had been trying to get in touch with me since last week. During my free period last Friday, I went to my coach's office and we tried calling them a few times and we finally got in touch. They were telling me everything they liked about me and how they wanted to get me down there for a visit but he never mentioned an offer. My coach told me a few days ago that I had just received an offer from them.

"I know it's a huge program with great facilities and a big stadium," he said. "I don't know a ton about the school itself but I know a few people that will be going to school there. My mom's side is from Georgia."
Plenty of schools are showing interest in Winfree.
"N.C. State and Wisconsin are recruiting me the most right now," Winfree said. "I think one of those two schools will offer me next. Rutgers is in my home state and Pittsburgh was my first offer so they are talking to me a lot."
Winfree will have a lot to think about now that the Bulldogs have entered the conversation.
"I don't really have a list yet," he explained. "I just enjoying the schools that are interested in me but I know when I make cuts that Georgia will probably be in there. By the time summer ends I'll narrow my list down to ten and then five during the season and I'll make my decision on or around signing day."
There are a few schools that can expect a visit from Winfree this offseason.
"I don't know much but I know I'm going to go to Rutgers," said Winfree. "I'm going to the Richmond Rivals and Under Armour camp so I'm going to stop by Maryland to go to their spring game."
Last season, Winfree racked up almost 1,000 all-purpose yards and eight total touchdowns. On defense he had 35 tackles, two interceptions and the five pass breakups.
