UGA offers 2018 Jones

It seems like New York City is producing more and more top level talent. Brooklyn (N.Y.) Erasmus Hall sophomore offensive lineman Matthew Jones is nearing double digit offers with Georgia being the latest school to pull the trigger.

WHAT'S NEXT?: Jones remains focused on finishing this season on a positive note. The only school he has visited so far is Rutgers but he will try to take some other visits this offseason.
IN HIS WORDS: "My recruitment started off fast and I didn't realize it would start that soon but I guess my work ethic and my size made me get that offer," Jones said. "My coaches told me about how colleges will put me on both sides but probably mostly offensive line because I'm patient and I have footwork.
"I believe these programs are great and I'd like to take some visits to see how the football team is organized and how the coaches work based on their players," he said. "Georgia's program is very great and I'm looking forward to seeing them.
"There's a couple schools like Alabama, Oregon, South Carolina, Michigan, Virginia Tech, Ohio State, and a lot more that I would like to have the opportunity to play football for," said Jones. "My connection with Ohio State is great. To be a part of them I just need to work hard, stay in shape, and show that I want to be a Buckeye. I'm able to keep in touch with Curtis every week."
RIVALS' REACTION: It is a long time until Jones commits or signs his National Letter of Intent but it's pretty clear that he is enamored with Ohio State. The Buckeyes have a great relationship with Erasmus Hall and current Buckeye Curtis Samuel starred at Erasmus Hall a few years ago.
