UF turning opponents into Gator Bait
The Gators have been turning recruiting opponents this week into Gator Bait. And that’s especially true after landing a commitment from one of the nation’s top offensive tackles.
“I committed to Florida earlier today,” Jason Watkins, a three-star offensive tackle from Lake Gibson, Fla., said. “I knew after I got back yesterday from the visit that it was the place for me. I just needed time to talk things over with my family and once I got to talk to them it was over for me.”

Watkins said he will now not have in-home visits from LSU and Oklahoma that were scheduled for this week.
“I don’t need to talk to them,” he said. “I’m a Gator.”
