Ude talks UGA, WVU, Vandy

Class of 2015 Atlanta (Ga.) Westmister defensive end Russell Ude has wrapped up his travels for the summer, but that doesn't mean the offers have stopped coming in.
Ude recently added offers from Vanderbilt and West Virginia and is also getting strong interest from Georgia after an excellent showing at Dawg Night earlier this month.

Ude gave his thoughts on all three schools:
Georgia: "Afterwards the defensive line coach took me up to his office and we talked for like 10 minutes. They weren't recruiting me before so he didn't offer on the spot. He did say that he's close to offering me he just needs to get to know me and see my transcripts. But he said from a football standpoint that I'm definitely good enough and I have the build and he liked the face that I showed my smarts in the defensive chalk talk. I like them a lot. I didn't think too much about Georgia but after Dawg Night they're definitely going to be in my top 10 throughout."
Vanderbilt: "It was a really good day for me [at camp]. I did great in all the drills and one-on-ones and I love everything about Vanderbilt, especially the academics and that they're an SEC team so it's big."
West Virginia: "I've talked to Coach Galloway like three or four times on the phone after he came to visit me in the spring. I really don't know too much about them to be honest. I'm supposed to get on the phone with some of the defensive coaches soon and I'll probably learn more then."
Ude is 6-foot-3, 251 pounds and recently won defensive line MVP honors at the Rivals250 Underclassmen Challenge presented by Under Armour earlier this month.
