Ude said he's excited about the offer from the U.
"They're awesome," he said. "Great academics, great football, it's what I'm looking for."
Assistant coach Jethro Franklin is recruiting Ude for the 'Canes, and Ude said he didn't have to be reminded of the big win over Florida this month.
"Beating Florida was a huge statement," Ude said. "It shows they're really a force to be reckoned with."
Now that Miami is in the mix, Ude is hoping to get to Coral Gables for a visit soon.
"I want to go down for the Georgia Tech game on Oct. 5, but I'm still planning," he said.
As far as the offer from the Pac-12 Bears, Ude said he likes what the new staff is doing.
"I like what Coach Dykes is doing over there," he said. "Great location and academics, too."
Ude is hoping to pull double duty and visit Cal and Stanford later in the year year, but he said that might be on hold if he decides to visit USC and UCLA instead.
"I think I might only be able to make it out to California once this year," he said. "So I have to decide which trip I can take."
In addition to the new offers, Ude has them from West Virginia, N.C. State, Mississippi State and several others.
