Ude adds first SEC offer

It's only been three days since 2015 Atlanta (Ga.) Westminster defensive end Russell Ude earned defensive line MVP honors at the Rivals Underclassmen Challenge presented by Under Armour, but he's already seen a big spike in his recruitment.
Ude, who came in with a lone offer from Boston College, added an offer from Mississippi State on Wednesday and is also getting strong interest from Oklahoma State.

"I'm definitely excited to have the Mississippi State offer," Ude said. "Especially since they play in the SEC. Coach Geoff Collins [Mississippi State defensive coordinator] is a real cool guy, too."
Ude said he's also started a nice relationship with Oklahoma State graduate assistant Eric Henderson via Facebook.
"I've talked to him the last couple of days and he's a cool guy," Ude said. "They play in a big conference so that's cool. I'm supposed to call him tomorrow and hopefully pick up the offer officially."
Ude will be attended Dawg Night at Georgia later this week and said he's glad he attended the Underclassmen Challenge.
"It was a fantastic experience," he said. "I love when I get the chance to measure my skills against high quality football players."
