UConn, Syracuse lead for OL

One of the top offensive linemen from Massachusetts has a list of leaders, and two stick out as the frontrunners. His size and speed have brought attention from schools around the country.
"My favorites are Boston College, UConn, Delaware, Syracuse, Iowa and Nebraska," said Ryan Durand. "Of those schools my favorites are UConn and Syracuse."

Durand is a 6-foot-5, 328-pound offensive tackle from Fitchsburg (Mass.) St. Bernard's. He has run the 40-yard dash in an impressive 5.05 seconds, so he moves very well for a player his size. He plays defensive tackle as well, but he knows the offensive line is where his future is.
"The education offered by colleges is definitely my top priority. I'm really pursuing a top-notch academic school. I've visited Boston College and UConn and both schools really impressed me. I plan on camping at Boston College and UConn, and maybe elsewhere, but I haven't decided on who."
Durand carries a 3.3 grade point average and has scored an 1,100 already on the SAT. While he doesn't have offers yet, he's receiving lots of attention.
"All the schools I listed have contacted me in some way," said Durand. "I've been contacted by coaches at all of my leaders, and have talked to people from each of those schools except Iowa and Nebraska -- those two have sent me letters."
