UCLA to host Christian soon

Though four-star Pennsylvania cornerback Cullen Christian knows he will be taking an official visit to UCLA soon, he isn't quite sure exactly when he will be there.
Nonetheless, the 6-foot, 180-pound defensive back from Pittsburgh (Pa.) Penn Hills is excited about what the trip will hold.

"I know I've got a visit to UCLA coming up soon but I don't really know the date. I talked to the coaches last week and basically they just said they really want me to come out there and see the campus. I've never been out (west) so it'll be my first time. Everybody's telling me it's gonna be crazy over there. I just want to see it for myself. I'm not really worried about the location."
Christian, currently ranked the No. 6 corner in the nation by Rivals.com, also said he wants to take a visit to Michigan soon.
"I know I'm gonna take one there," he said. "As a matter of fact I think I'm supposed to sometime. They looked good (on Saturday). I could tell they're working hard. They impressed me but I expected it. I expected them to have a good season."
The biggest trip on Christian's calendar, however, will be one he's taking to Columbus this weekend.
"This week I was supposed to go to West Virginia but I'm going to the Ohio State-USC game instead. It's just an unofficial because they (Ohio State) haven't offered me a scholarship. I got a pass so I should be down there on the field."
