It’s not often that UCLA dips into the junior college ranks, but this year they have and just signed one of the better junior college linebackers in the West.
“He just faxed the papers back to UCLA,” said John Cicuto, coach of linebacker Patrick Pierre-Louis at Glendale (Calif.) College. “UCLA is getting a good one here. He’s got a great motor and always seems to get to the ball.”
Pierre-Louis, who is 6-foot-1 and 225 pounds, has been clocked consistently at 4.6 seconds in the 40-yard dash and is just growing into a great football player.
“He played two years up in Canada,” Cicuto said. “He’s French-Canadian. Then he moved to Florida and played down there for a while. He then followed me from Citrus to Glendale. He’s a good one.”
