UCLA lands 11th pledge

The UCLA Bruins have decided to keep it all in the family for their 11th commit. UCLA received the pledge of a player who if he's as good as his brother then UCLA scored huge. When BruinBlitz.com saw him in camp we saw a gritty, physical and aggressive player. Like all Bruin commits this guy has a lot of upside.
The player in question is Sonny Tevaga (6-6, 350, 5.7) from Compton (Calif.) Dominguez.

"Sonny is going to play football with his brother Shannon at UCLA," Tevaga's Dad Savvi Tevaga said. "The Bruins offered Sonny a scholarship on Tuesday and he committed shortly after."
Rivals.com saw Tevaga at UCLA's one day camp when he was playing on a gimpy ankle and he still performed at a high level.
A week later he gutted it out at the NIKE Camp held in Los Angeles and once again held his own.
Tevaga benches 350 and squats over 400 pounds. At NIKE, Tevaga bench pressed 185 pounds, 28 times.
Tevaga also received recruiting attention from USC, Oregon, Arizona, Washington, Washington State, Utah and Oklahoma.
If Tevaga ends up anything like his brother Shannon then UCLA has scored big with the commitment of little brother Sonny.
