UCLA JC pledge to visit Tennessee
Three-star JUCO defensive tackle and UCLA commit, Branden Warner Branden Warner (6-2, 280, 4.78) from Compton (Calif.) College took a visit to Washington this past weekend and will trip to Tennessee this coming weekend. Though he is still committed to UCLA, it has to be listed as a soft commit.
"My visit to Washington was nice," Warner said. "It was alright, Washington has a chance. It is between them, UCLA and Tennessee."

"I will be visiting Tennessee this weekend," Warner said. "I was interested because it is only two hours away from home. Playing at home was once important, but it is not anymore."
"I have been away now for over a year now so location is no longer an issue," Warner said. "It's all about business now. Meaning getting my degree and playing time."
"Coach Todd Howard called and asked if I was still a Bruin and I said yes," Warner said. "UCLA was just making sure that I was still straight."
"Then Coach Howard reminded about all the plans they have for me," Warner said. "He said will come by the school to make sure I am doing all the things necessary that I need to do to get in school."
"I'm going to call Coach Rick Neuheisel later on today," Warner said. "Just to let him know what is going on with me."
You can't blame Bruin fans if they are a bit nervous about Warner's visit to Tennessee. This has been a strange year on the recruiting trail for UCLA as they have lost some recruits to other school, but have also been able to land players that were committed to other colleges.
If the Bruins lose this one, it will hurt since Warner plays the defensive tackle position, a spot where it is hard to find quality and depth.
