UCLA continues push for Toki

Thomas Toki remains committed to Washington State but there is no doubt there are flirtations especially with UCLA and others are coming after the four-star defensive tackle as well.
The 6-foot, 307-pound prospect who looked good at the Pylon Sports Lineman Challenge this past weekend in Las Vegas said he recently returned from a trip to UCLA and that the Bruins definitely stand out in his recruitment.

"I'm still looking at that," Toki said. "There are a lot of good colleges out there. I'm still committed to Wazzu but we'll see how things go. UCLA looks like a good school to me so we'll see how things go.
"They're a good school. I like them. I don't know. We'll just see what's best for me, where I can fit and where my future will take me."
Toki, who recently transferred from Kirkland (Wash.) Juanita to Mountain View (Calif.) St. Francis, said his parents really liked the trip to UCLA and the Bruins will definitely play a factor in his recruitment in the coming months.
Oklahoma State, Cal and Oregon State are three other programs involved with Toki, who shined at the Under Armour Combine in Florida over the holidays.
But UCLA looks like the school that could steal Toki's commitment from Washington State.
"I'm going to take it really slow because I'm looking at other programs too like Oklahoma State, Cal and Oregon State," Toki said.
"(Washington State) is still recruiting me hard. On a scale from 1-10 my interest level is probably a 7 right now.
"(UCLA) is a good school. My parents really like the school. We were taking an unofficial visit and they were telling me how they'd like to see me over there. Talking to all the coaches and the schemes and seeing how I fit with Ainuu Taua and some others, we'll see how it goes."
