UCLA commit to check out the Ducks

Just like they did when they hosted Cal a few weeks back, Oregon is bringing in several top prospects on official visits this weekend when the Ducks host USC. We've heard reports that a few committed prosepcts could be visiting and one we know of is UCLA commit Damien Holmes.
Holmes, 6-3, 250 pounds is one of the elite defensive end prospects in the West region. He had a dominant showing at the SoCal NIKE Camp and has as much upside as any defensive lineman in the region due to his size, motor, athleticism and ability to play inside or outside in college.

The athlete gave a commitment to UCLA back in the summer and despite the visit to Eugene this weekend, said he's still very solid with the Bruins.
"Yeah, I'm 100% committed to UCLA," Holmes said. "It's just before I committed, I had never seen any other colleges except for UCLA and USC. I always wanted to take at least one out of state visit to see what's it like and I thought this would be a great opportunity since Oregon is playing USC and I've heard so many great things about how crazy the game atmosphere is at Oregon.
"I don't have any other visits set up and don't plan to trip anywhere else except for my visit to UCLA. I'm looking forward to checking out Oregon but like I said, I'm a Bruin and I'm very excited about being at UCLA next year."
Colton is 4-3 on the year and Holmes ia having a huge season. He has racked up 64 tackles and 12 sacks to go with 14 catches for 358 yards and two touchdowns.
