UCLA and Oregon join mix for California WR

El Dorado Hills (Calif.) Oak Ridge Austin Collie has more and more schools expressing interest in his talents.
"I've got more schools calling," the 6-foot-2, 190-pound Collie said. "Oregon and UCLA are now in the game. UCLA has not offered me a scholarship yet, though."

The other schools calling the three-star rated Collie have been there for a while. Those schools include Oregon State, Washington State, Colorado, Arizona, Arizona State, Stanford and BYU.
"BYU and Stanford are really going heavy after me," he said. "Those two have been there all along. They, along with Colorado, Arizona and Arizona State are all trying to get me to set up official visits with them. But, I don't have any set up yet. Some of them are starting to press me a little bit to get them set up. But, I don't have any open Fridays this fall. We play every week and I want to be able to go on a Friday and stay through a Sunday. So, I'm telling the schools I am going to wait until our season is over to take my visits."
Collie is trying not to let the recruiting process interfere with his final season of high school football.
"I am enjoying the season," he said. "I am trying to stay focused on a good season and getting another championship for the team. That is the first goal."
