The schools: Alabama and Clemson
The Pick: Clemson
While there was a strong push from Alabama this week, McKinney has held strong according to sources with his Clemson pick. He could surprise some with a Roll Tide pick, but right now an immediate impact at Clemson seems likely.
The schools: Georgia and Alabama
The Pick: Georgia
It’s hard to imagine Alabama striking out on two safety prospects they really want in the same weekend, but it could happen. Gibbs likes Alabama, but the lure of home should be too much.
The schools: Ole Miss and Louisville
The Pick: Louisville
I changed my mind on this one pretty quickly as Dixon has gone back and forth in the minds of many. He’d be a good fit in both defenses as an undersized linebacker, but Louisville seems to have the edge going into the game now.
The schools: Penn State, Pitt and Virginia Tech
The Pick: Virginia Tech
This is a close one between Pitt and Virginia Tech with the linebacker liking coaches and schemes at each school. (Penn State likely doesn’t have room.) I’ll go with the Hokies here in a tight one.
The schools: Maryland and Ohio State
The Pick: Maryland
Ohio State doesn’t have room. Rutgers might get a hat on the table, but all signs point to Maryland.
