Tyler excited about Arkansas offer

Just three days before one of the biggest games of senior season, Lithonia (Ga.) Martin Luther King safety Jeremy Tyler received some pretty good news.
Assistant coach Taver Johnson from Arkansas called, extending an offer to Tyler and throwing a little bit of a wrench into his decision making process.

"I talked to him earlier this week and they told me they were very interested," Tyler said. "The next day they told me they wanted to offer me."
Tyler was thought to have three favorites, Ole Miss, Vanderbilt and Oklahoma State. But now the Razorbacks have suddenly come into the picture.
"They're in play now," Tyler said. "I know they're having a down year but I know a lot about them. One of my brother's teammates played there and he told me how they are and how they operate. He also said I would fit into their scheme, he told me some nice things."
Tyler has yet to schedule any of his official visits, but he said he's hoping to work out a schedule with his mother.
"I plan on taking them soon," Tyler said. "I want to visit Ole Miss, Vanderbilt, Oklahoma State and now Arkansas. That last one is still kind of up for grabs."
Tyler was invited to Auburn for an unofficial visit this weekend, but decided not to make the trip. He said once a few things work themselves out at home, his schedule will be easier to set.
"When my family gets comfortable we'll be taking all the visits," he said. "We have a lot of stuff going on right now. It's going to be soon. Hopefully in the next two weeks we'll start to decide."
