TX OL has a Big XII favorite

Manuel Ramirez 's season at Willowridge (TX) ended at a disappointing 2-8, but Manuel's future looks bright. This versatile offensive lineman was played at guard and tackle to get the most out of his ability.
Manuel has now turned his attention to what university he will be taking his talents to. "I get calls every week from Kansas State, Texas Tech and Houston," said the 6-foot-4, 315 pound Ramirez, "they are still my top three. I have scholarship offers from all three. I've eliminated Syracuse from consideration and Nebraska writes me but they haven't offered or called lately."

When asked for a favorite, Manuel said "It's still Kansas State. I have a great relationship with Coach Latimore. We talk every week on the phone and he stresses that minorities have a good graduation rate at KSU."
Ramirez has set up a visit to Texas Tech for December 7 and he said that he will visit Kansas State in late December or early January. "I'll also visit Houston, but I can go there anytime because they are so close," said Ramirez.
