Two-way standout gets offer

Continuing with our report on D-I prospects from a very talented Vista, Calif., high school football team Pac10Recruiting would like to introduce to you running back/safety prospect Isaiah Crawford (5-11, 190, 4.6).
Crawford was selected all-league as an outside linebacker while splitting time between the offense and defense. When he lined up on the defensive side of the ball, Crawford registered 31 tackles and four sacks.

From his running back position, Crawford accounted for 653 yards and scored seven touchdowns. He also caught four passes for 44 yards and scored on touchdown through the air.
“Isaiah has a tremendous burst and excellent acceleration,” Vista head coach Greg Hauser said. “He is also very physical to go with his overall speed and quickness.”
Fresno State has already offered him a scholie as a running back while other schools feel Crawford will make an outstanding strong safety on the next level.
Mountain West schools like San Diego State, UNLV and New Mexico came by Vista this May and expressed interest in Crawford.
Idaho also came by the school in May with Crawford very much on their mind.
Crawford is getting the wait and see about the senior season attitude from teams in the Pac10. With a strong senior season (which is very likely), Crawford could see his stock soar…
