Wildcat assistant coach Tim Kish, who is now Arizona's Inland Empire recruiter spoke with Upland Football Coach Tim Salter at to inform him about Irabor's offer.
Irabor is a two-way standout who is just beginning to his full throttle on the recruiting trail.
From his cornerback position, Irabor had 49 tackles and three interceptions. As a receiver, he came down with 16 receptions for 325 yards and two touchdowns.
Obviously Irabor was very happy with his first offer.
"I felt really honored to get my first offer from a pac-10 school," Irabor said. "It was great news.
Coach Kish was very excited to extend the offer to me and expressed his excitement about me visiting the University and getting to know what Arizona football is all about.
"Coach Kish loved my abilities as a cover corner and even went as far as to say that they would even consider me as a receiver. Coach Kish was very happy with me as an individual as well; he stressed that offering me a scholarship wasn't just based on how I play on the field, but how I conduct myself as an individual.
"It was great to receive an offer from Arizona because they are known to recruit great cover corners such as Antoine Cason who played in my area at Los Alamitos.
You can be assured you will be hearing a lot more about Irabor as the spring evaluation period progresses.
