Two-way GA standout likes three

At 6-foot-1 210 pounds, Tyrone Williams has good size whether you see him as a linebacker or a running back. Many schools are seeing the Thomasville, Ga. standout as both and so does his high school coach.
"We've got our Spring Game tomorrow," Williams said on Thursday. "Spring's been going alright for us. I've been playing both ways and trying to get in shape. I played a little bit of offense last year so I'm familiar with it. I like defense cause I like to hit but I really like both."

Several schools are showing Williams interest on both sides of the ball and three in particular stand out.
"I'm hearing from a couple schools, mainly USF, Mississippi State and Ole Miss," he said. "I'm really interested in those three."
Among those three schools, one common factor stands out: early playing time.
"Mississippi State I like. The coach was talking to me on the phone. He called me once, I guess they get one call per month. He said they've got three running backs that might go in the league early and two linebackers that might leave so I might play early.
"USF says that they have a spot on the field where I can play early and I like their academics.
"Ole Miss says that they have a spot on the field that I can play either as a running back or a linebacker.
"It really doesn't matter to me where I play as long as I get on the field."
Williams' schedule for the summer tentatively includes camps at USF, Mississippi State and some more to be named later. He also has one goal for his high school team: win a state championship.
