Two visits up next for Sumler

The first three teams to offer San Diego (Calif.) University running back Demetrius Sumler are going to have to make room for a few more because the offer count is steadily rising for the No. 98 overall prospect in the state of California.
Colorado, Colorado State, and Fresno State are also joined by Boise State, Nevada, and UNLV with some visits in mind already. In fact, Sumler will be taking his first few visits between October and December with two already in the books.

"I'll be visiting Boise State on Oct. 8 and I think Fresno State is Dec. 17 right now," Sumler said. "Both schools need some running backs and they're both up and coming programs. They run the ball a lot so that's big."
As for favorites, that's not as clear.
"Not at all," Sumler said about favorites. "I'm just trying to go through the process and see it all right now."
His first two visits were no accidents though and it appears that coach John Settle, who is recruiting Sumler for Fresno State, has made quite the impression.
"We just have a great relationship," Sumler said about Settle. "He has told me that they could use me to come in and sure up some depth at the running back spot. I like that their program is really on the rise."
A decision will be sometime in the near future on a date that he has yet to nail down.
"I have no idea," he said about when he will commit. "I'll probably take my visits and weigh my options, but I really have no idea about that right now."
