Two visits down, two to go for Rodriguez
Hacienda Hts. (Calif.) Los Altos athlete Raymond Rodriguez took his second official visit of the year to Nevada this past weekend. Rodriguez had previously visited La. Tech and has two more trips lined up before making his decision.
Rodriguez, 6-2, 240 pounds loved his visit to La. Tech back in December. Was Nevada able to measure up?

"To be honest, I never felt comfortable there," Rodriguez said. "I think Nevada is a nice school and a great place to visit but I just can't see myself going there for college. I just didn't really fit in with the lifestyle there and it's not a place that I could live at.
"Louisiana Tech has been hands down my favorite trip so far but I have two more to take before deciding anything. I'm going to San Diego State this weekend and then San Jose State the following weekend (Jan. 25) and both have offered me.
"I also have home visits this week with San Diego State and San Jose State. Those are probably my top three schools right now and after I take my last two visits, I'll be ready to make a commitment somewhere."
