Two top the field
Wide receiver Anthony Boyles (6-3, 185, 4.4) from Gardena (Calif.) Serra is now up to 20 offers but two teams appear to have the early edge.

"Right now my favorite school is Washington," Boyles said. "Right behind Washington is Oregon State."
"I like Coach Yarbs (Eric Yarber)," Boyles said. "He seems real. You can talk to him about everything."
"I have great communication with him," Boyles said. "I feel like I've known him my whole life."
"I also think Coach Yarbs can help me make it to the league," Boyles said. "He's been there and has coached there."
"Another reason I like Washington is I think I can go there and play as a freshman."
"I like Oregon State because they throw a lot and I know I can play there as a freshman," Boyles said. "My idol is Cincinnati Bengal wide receiver Chad Johnson, who played there. I think I could come there and break his records."
"I've also liked Fresno State since my freshman year," Boyles said. "They told me they don't offer high profile players."
Serra coach Scott Altenberg in an earlier interview with Rivals.com had nothing but high praise for his talented wide receiver.
"Anthony runs great routes and has great hands," Altenberg said. "When he gets the ball in his hands it's magic, he just makes things happen."
"As a runner after the catch, he's very elusive and if you take the wrong angle on him, he will make you look foolish," Altenberg said. "He doesn't look like he's moving fast but he blows by everyone."
"Anthony's nickname is Showtime, because he gets the ball in his hands anything can happen," Altenberg said. "He's special."
Boyles was the only class of 2007 unanimous first-team all-league selection after catching 23 passes for 467 yards while averaging 20.3 yards per catch and five touchdowns.
