Two teams stand out for Latu Bros.

Arizona State and San Diego State have become the frontrunners for Viliami Latu and his brother, A.J. Latu, as the recruiting process continues for the Rancho Cucamonga, Calif., linebackers.
"Those two definitely stand out for us," Viliami Latu said.

"Arizona State is a Pac-12 school and we really like their program and all their coaches. We just like it out there. They talk about the heat, how it's hot out there, but they don't even practice outside. They practice in a dome so that's cool.
"San Diego State is close to home, it's a good school and we got along with all the coaches. That is standing out, too."
The twin brothers have made it clear they plan to play together in college and that continues to be the modus operandi for them as more schools get involved.
So far, Viliami Latu has been offered by Arizona, Arizona State, Boise State, Colorado State, Fresno State, Hawaii, Houston, New Mexico, New Mexico State and San Diego State.
A.J. Latu lists offers from Arizona, Arizona State, Colorado, Colorado State, Fresno State, Hawaii, Houston, New Mexico, New Mexico State, Oregon State, San Diego State and Washington State.
The brothers said Oregon has been showing increased interest but the Ducks have not discussed an offer yet. Colorado State is the newest offer for them.
"We've been talking to Oregon lately," Latu said. "The coaches said they like the way we play. We like the Pac-12 so that's a really good thing."
Latu said Arizona State might have a slight edge since it's a Pac-12 school but they're not ready to make a decision yet.
Before the Latu Bros. make their commitments, they plan to take a bunch of official visits possibly starting with Rancho Cucamonga's bye week.
