Two-star TE enjoys first trip

Van Vleck, Texas tight end Chris Hudgins took his first official visit of the year this weekend.
“My visit to Missouri has been good, but I’m about ready to head home from here,” the 6-foot-4, 250-pound Hudgins said. “Everything is going well. I got to talk to the coaches about things and what they had in mind as far as I was concerned.

“Today I took some tours of the buildings and the facilities. It was a good trip overall, except for the outcome of the game.”
Hudgins watched the Tigers lose 31-14 to the rival Kansas Jayhawks.
“A lot of guys were disappointed in the game,” he said. “But, they still showed me a good time. They took me around and talked with me about things and the program. It was a good time.”
Hudgins isn’t rushing into a decision, though.
“I still have other visits to take,” he said. “I don’t know where to, but I will try to take two or three more. I’ll probably try and get a couple of them during December.”
