"No new offers yet, but a lot of schools have been talking to me saying they're going to offer soon," Turner said. "I'm going up to Auburn's camp in about a week so I'm hoping to get an offer from there."
In June, Turner also camped at Oklahoma State and LSU, and he plans to attend Mississippi State's Big Dawg camp and Auburn's camp July 19th to conclude his summer camp schedule.
As Turner prepares for the season, he does have a couple of college programs standing out.
"My top schools are Mississippi State and Arizona State," Turner said. "They've been showing me the most love, so they're going to be at the top of my list."
Turner is also standout on the baseball field, and receiving significant attention for his abilities in centerfield as well as his .349 batting average. Arizona State and Mississippi State are among the schools who have discussed the subject of a possible dual-sport career which is a positive in Turner's eyes.
"I'm a two-sport athlete so baseball is going pretty well for me," Turner said. "I just got picked for the 17U USA team. Football is still going well. I'm still getting attention from a lot of colleges, and I'm just hoping to do both in college. That would be a big plus."
Turner participated in the Rivals250 Underclassmen Challenge in Jacksonville, Fla., on Saturday and was named to the Underclassmen Challenge Top Running Back Performers.
