Two standing out for Williams

Shreveport (La.) Byrd safety Kieron Williams likes to make the hit and prides himself on being able to play either safety, or linebacker at 6-0, 190 pounds.
He has attracted interest from several schools around the area and his list of offers continues to grow.

"My latest offer was from Air Force," Williams said. "I'm talking to ULL, Tech, and Houston right now."
In addition to Air Force, Williams claims offers from Grambling St., UL-Lafayette, UL-Monroe, McNeese St., and Northwestern St. He does not have any official visits scheduled, but he does plan to take an unofficial in the next few weeks.
"I'm looking to visit ULL in about three or four weeks," Williams said. "It's just going to be to go watch a game. I'm just going to play football right now."
While his focus is on his high school season, there are two schools current at the top of his recruiting list.
"I'm really liking ULL and Houston," Williams said. "If Houston offers me I will be on a bus over there to Houston."
What is it about the two programs that has them above the rest at this point?
"They're just like Byrd. The fanbases are great," Williams said. "Both cities are really great. Both of those schools stand out to me."
Kieron Williams is currently a 3-star prospect. This summer he was a standout at an LSU camp and was named first-team all-district following the 2011 season.
