Two-sport star has trip set up
Riverview, Fla., athlete Jason Harmon is one of the better two-sport stars in the state of Florida since he is a prospect in both football and baseball. But it’s football that has allowed him to line up his first official visit.
“I’ve got a January 14 visit set up with Florida Atlantic,” Harmon, who is 6-foot-2 and 189 pounds, said. “I’m also getting interest from South Florida, Maryland, Auburn and Florida.”

Harmon, who had 11 receptions for 307 yards and four touchdowns and also had 34 rushes for 204 yards and five scores, said he likes Coach Hoza at Florida Atlantic, but he’s also keeping an open mind about all the schools on his list.
“I visited Florida Atlantic this summer and it was nice,” he said. “Maryland needs receivers, and I have family in the area. I attended camps at Auburn and Florida this summer. I thought the coaches were great.”
Harmon wants to take his visits before he makes any decisions.
