Two-sport star has offers

West Hills (Calif.) Chaminade has been one of the biggest surprises of the Southern Section CIF Division III. They started off their season by getting drubbed by Simi Valley (Calif.) Royal. But after that Chaminade hasn’t lost a game since. One of the reasons has been the play cornerback/wide receiver Marcus Everett (6-2, 190, 4.4).
On offense as a wide receiver, Everett has caught 40 passes for 876 yards and 11 touchdowns.

On defense he has picked off five passes.
Everett has offers on the table from Utah and Fresno State. He has received calls from Oregon, Oregon State, Washington, Washington State, UCLA, USC, Cal and Boston College.
Oregon, Oregon State, Washington, Washington State, and Cal have offered Everett official trips.
Everett hasn’t made any concrete visit dates yet because he’s also and standout basketball player who has offers in that sport as well.
Everett has offers from UCSD, UC Irvine, Princeton and Santa Clara for his talents as a hoops player.
“It’s going to be a big decision for me whether I play football or basketball,” Everett said. “Basically it is going to come down to the place I feel most comfortable and what sport I want to play on the collegiate level.”
“I may even play both sports and there is a good chance that I will,” Everett said. “Oregon, Washington State, Princeton and Utah are recruiting me for both sports.”
Everett is one of the best two-sport athletes in Southern California this season.
