Huntley had a very busy summer.
"I was contacted in early June by Coach Tim Lappano the offensive coordinator at Washington and he invited me to Washington's camp," Huntley said. "I had a great time at the camp and several coaches worked out with me one-on-one.
"Coach Lappano said they really like my physicality and athleticism and he really wants me at Washington. I had a chance to see their facilities, meet several coaches and tour the campus, it was awesome."
"Until the Washington visit, Stanford and Boston College had shown the most interest," Huntley said. Coach Ron Lynn at Stanford has come by San Ramon Valley high school several times to watch me workout and I attended Stanford's summer camp and met with several Stanford coaches."
"I was invited by Coach Mike Siravo to Boston Colleges' one day "Top Prospect" camp in June and had a great time," Huntley said. "I was one of sixteen players in the top prospect section of BC'S camp on June 18 and there were over 40 coaches from other colleges at the BC camp."
"I was at UC Davis' football camp last week and a lot of spent time with (running backs) Coach (Greg) Chapla, and some one-on-one time (recruiting) Coach (Steve) Bronzan and Head Coach (Bob) Biggs," Huntley said. "I enjoyed the camp and like all of the coaches. I very familiar with Davis because my sister plays on the UC Davis soccer team."
"My goal is to narrow down which colleges seem like a good fit this summer," Huntley said. "Right now I have offers from Cal and UCLA for rugby and positive experiences and strong interest from Washington, Stanford, Boston College and UC Davis for football."
