Two schools lead for Jersey DE

Two schools currently lead for Franklin Lakes (N.J.) Ramapo defensive end Jimmy Hogan, who is now up to four offers. However, several additional schools are showing increased interest, plus Hogan hopes to gain more attention from one specific Big Ten program.
One is a local school that he is very familiar with given his proximity to the school and how convenient it is to visit and obtain information. The other is much farther away and offers a very different college experience.

"I'd probably say Central Florida and Rutgers are standing out," Hogan said.
But there is a long way to go. Both schools have offered and as have UConn and UMass. Much will be determined by what other schools decide to offer.
Penn State, North Carolina and Boston College are showing interest, and Hogan said he is also anxious to hear from Wisconsin.
The 6-foot-5, 225-pound defensive end's last visit was to UMass.
"That was maybe a month ago," he recalled. "This upcoming weekend I'm going to visit UConn and that will just be an unofficial visit. I'm just going to see what it's like. I'd definitely like to also visit Central Florida and maybe Wisconsin."
Hogan explained why he would like to visit Central Florida and Wisconsin.
"Central Florida basically just because it's in Florida," he laughed. "And Wisconsin's a good football school and I'd like to check it out sometime."
