Two remain at top for Colorado RB

Denver (Colo.) Mullen running back Maurice Greer continues to receive calls but not a lot is changing on the recruiting trail.
“Nothing new that I know of,” the 5-foot-11, 185-pound Greer said. “Coach (Dave) Logan hasn’t told of anything new that he has heard.”

The nation’s No. 9 rated running back still has just one official visit scheduled.
“I still have just the k-state visit,” he said. “Oregon is calling, but I haven’t talked to them about visiting or anything. I’m going to try and take in a game at Kansas State. They’ve been asking me to come out there for a game. I’ll also, probably try to go to a Colorado game sometime.”
The two Big 12 Conference north division schools lead for Greer’s talents.
“It is still K-State and Colorado at the top of the list. I just like both of them a lot.”
Greer’s Mullen squad has opened the season with a 1-1 record.
“We have only played two games,” he said. “We lost to Hastings, Minn. up there. It took me a while to get used to playing that far away with the surroundings and everything. It was different and they were a very good team.”
