Two out in front for Texas QB

Arlington (Texas) Bowie quarterback Sherrod Harris continues to have many schools recruiting him, but five have emerged as the top five for the Rivals100 member.
"I probably have a top five," the 6-foot-3, 185-pound Harris said. "They've all been recruiting me hard and I like what they have to offer."

Those five schools, at this point, are Texas, Stanford, Texas A&M, Oklahoma State and Georgia Tech.
"Right now, I'd say those are them," he said. "I would say that Texas and Stanford have a little bit of a lead right now over the others. I know several Texas players and they've been telling me what they like about the program and it has only been good stuff.
"Stanford has also been recruiting me hard. The new coaches are working hard already to get things rolling there and I am pretty sure they'll get it going again."
Harris holds offers already from Texas, Oklahoma State, LSU, Syracuse, Texas A&M and TCU. He also is receiving attention from Florida State in addition to Stanford for schools that have yet to offer.
As a sophomore, Harris threw for 1,500 yards and 18 touchdowns while rushing for just short of 500 and seven touchdowns. He followed that season up with just under 1,000 yards passing to go with four touchdowns. As a junior and rushed for 413 yards and five scores.
