Two on top for Trae Clark

Three-star Cincinnati (Ohio) Colerain defensive tackle Trae Clark lists more than a dozen offers, but with his senior season well underway Clark is starting to narrow his focus. This weekend he will visit one of the two schools atop his list.
"On Saturday, me and my coach and maybe [Colerain junior running back] Jackson Sorn are going to West Virginia for the LSU game," Clark said. "I'm very excited to see them and just want to see a W."

The trip to Morgantown this weekend will be an unofficial visit, but Clark does have an official visit set to USF for the weekend of Oct. 21. The Mountaineers and Bulls currently sit atop his list.
"It's mostly West Virginia and South Florida. Those are just a top two right now," Clark said. "I have not been to South Florida yet, but at West Virginia the atmosphere just hit me."
Other schools Clark mentioned were still under consideration included Arkansas and Michigan. He holds an offer from the Razorbacks, but not from the Wolverines.
The 6-4, 340-pound Clark helped lead his team to a 21-13 win over Middletown on Thursday. In the process they stopped one of the state of Ohio's most explosive players in the class of 2013, athlete Jalin Marshall.
"He had some tricks in his bag, but we just played him well," Clark said. "As a defensive line, our game plan was just attack the fullback every play."
