Two on top for Elbert

To say Rockwall (Texas) Rockwall-Heath 2015 offensive tackle Trevor Elbert had a highly productive summer might be selling him a little short.

Following a sophomore season which saw him earn second-team all-district honors, the 6-foot-6, 290-pound lineman attended four college camps during the summer months. All four subsequently extended scholarships.
Four offers after four camps is an impressive accomplishment, but when those programs are Alabama, Texas A&M, Texas, and Texas Tech it is a definite eye catcher.
It is easy to see Elbert made some waves, and it is equally apparent the four programs he camped left an impression on him.
"Alabama and (Texas) A&M were both amazing, and had great talent at both," Elbert said. "Texas was a good camp. I didn't go to (Texas) Tech, I went to a high school for that camp, but it was pretty good."
In July, Elbert listed Texas A&M and Alabama at the top of his list, and in mid-August that is still the case. He is not ready to name any leaders and at this point has not really been thinking about where he wants to go. However, at this early point in the process, it is safe to say both the Aggies and the Crimson Tide have his attention, and for similar reasons
"Well both are in the SEC and I love the coaching staff at both places and I enjoy both teams," Elbert said.
With the 2013 season approaching he does not have any unofficial visit plans on the schedule, and the one visit he would like to make does not look like it will be possible.
"I would love to go to Bama and A&M but I have my homecoming on that day," Elbert said. "But I really don't know right now."
At this point he is not in a hurry to make a decision, and plans to take his time.
"I have two more years left of high school ball," he said.
