Two on top for Dixon
Reserve (La.) East St. John wide receiver Ricky Dixon was the beneficiary of having a great quarterback throwing the ball to him last year in LSU signee, Ryan Perrilloux. This year he is out to prove that he is one of the nation's top receivers regardless of who is on the other end of the pass.
Dixon has accumulated offers from every major program in the South including the likes of Florida, LSU, Florida State, Ole Miss, UCLA, Clemson, Tennessee, Mississippi State, Georgia, Auburn and others. He has tons of options but two teams sit atop his leader board.

"Right now LSU and Florida are my two favorites," Dixon said. "That could all change after I take my official visits but right now they are on top. Neither is ahead of the other really, they are dead even. Both of them have their advantages."
The 6-foot-1.5, 202-pound Dixon attended the NIKE camp in Athens in May where he ran the 40-yard dash in 4.66 seconds, ran a 4.19 second shuttle and posted a 27-inch vertical jump.
"I am going to wait until after the season to take my official visits," Dixon said. "I want to keep all of my options open right now. Florida State, Ole Miss and UCLA are also some other schools that I'm looking at right now."
In addition to the NIKE camp, Dixon has attended camps at Tulane and Ole Miss so far this summer and he will be heading to Gainesville on Friday to attend the Gators camp on Friday.
"I love the offense Florida will be using this year, having the five wide receivers," Dixon said. "I talk to their coaches pretty much every week. The big advantage that LSU has is that it is so close to home. I know all of the guys there and Ryan and I are real close and he is trying to get me to come there."
As a junior Dixon caught 66 passes for 1, 307 yards for 19 touchdowns. He also picked up 453 yards rushing.
