Two offers now for two-star TE

Marshall, Texas tight end Mario Walker is now holding a second offer, but more schools are starting to show more interest all of the time.
“Arkansas-Pine Bluff offered me a scholarship this morning,” the 6-foot, 220-pound Walker said. “SMU’s offer is still out there, too. Those are the only two I have. Tennessee State is now interested, too. Texas A&M has been calling too, lately and so has Kansas.”

Walker does not want to name one school as a favorite right now.
“Right now, I am just kind of staying open. I’m focused on our season. When it is over, then I can turn to recruiting full time. We play this Friday at Kyle Field. We get to play Beaumont Ozen. It should be a good game. I am not as good as I wanted it to be, but as long as we are winning, it is fine.”
Walker doesn’t believe his future lies at the tight end position.
“I don’t think they’ll leave me as a tight end. I don’t know where they will put me in the end, and I really don’t care. Just get me on the field and I’ll play."
