Two offers and a top two

Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) University School three-star offensive guard Jordan Budwig picked up his first two offers this week. They came from Florida International and Marshall.
"I don't know which one came first because they told my coach and then he told me," Budwig said. "I haven't had a chance to get in contact with them yet. (University School Head) Coach (Roger) Harriott just told me I had an offer from them."

The 6-foot-4, 320-pound offensive lineman knows a bit about the Thundering Herd as his quarterback, Gunnar Holcombe, signed with them this past recruiting cycle.
"The only thing I know about Marshall is through him," Budwig said. "He has told me about what the campus is like and the kind of offense that they run."
The South Florida prospect is unfamiliar with Mario Cristobal's Golden Panthers, but he hopes to make his way to the nearby campus in the near future.
"I have never seen FIU," Budwig said. "If I have an opportunity to, I think I will visit the campus."
Budwig also reports interest from Boston College, Cincinnati, Florida State, Miami, Purdue, South Florida, and Central Florida. The offensive lineman believes a lot of offers will come his way during the spring.
"I know a lot of big schools are planning to come see me in spring," Budwig said. "Some of the schools that I have talked to that have said they are probably going to offer in the spring includes Purdue and FSU. I know Miami is coming to see me too."
At this stage of the process, Budwig says an offer from two schools could make him consider ending the process immediately.
"Miami and FSU are my top two right now," Budwig said. "I would think about committing if they offered me. I have been a Miami fan growing up my whole life. I went to both junior days and both were fantastic. I loved both coaching staffs. I feel like I could fit into both offenses really well."
